Data acquisition projects for the proposed NASA SETI Microwave Observing Project (MOP) are discussed. The prototype VERA 2.0 system, which is based on virtually concurrent, communicating software processes within a single computer, is described. The VERA 3.0 initial operating configuration for MOP is discussed, including the more advanced information processing and the means of identifying radio frequency interference. Finally, the VERA 3.X extended operating configuration is addressed.
