Ordinary and simultaneous UBV observations were carried out for CH Cygni which remained in an outburst phase throughout 1978. The V-magnitude varies with periods of about 50 to 100 days. The color tends to be redder when the star is brighter, and bluer when fainter. In addition to these long-term variations, there are rapid light variations with time-scales of about 2 to 5 and 20 to 40 minutes. For these rapid fluctuations, the color is bluer when the star is brighter, and redder when fainter. The light variations of long periods are attributable to a pulsation of the M-type component of the binary system, while the rapid light fluctuations are attributed to activities in the accretion disk surrounding the companion.
