The radio properties of a distance-limited sample of 25 Seyfert and relatively narrow line X-ray galaxies (NLXGs) having recession velocities of less than 3100 km/s with respect to the centroid of the Local Group are studied using VLA maps. Previous conclusions that the radio sources in type 2 Seyferts are both larger and more powerful than those in type 1 Seyferts are confirmed. The NLXGs show radio properties similar to the type 2 Seyferts and significantly different from the type 1 Seyferts. Linear radio sources are found in approximately one-third of all Seyfert galaxies and in more than two-thirds of those with well-resolved radio sources. There is no tendency for the axes of Seyfert galaxy radio sources to be parallel or perpendicular to the major axes of the galaxies' overall stellar distributions. This result indicates that the collimating disks in the galaxy nuclei must be tipped with respect to the galaxy planes.
