Radio observations are presented of sources which have been reported in or near globular clusters. Variability of these sources at 2.7 GHz was sought on time scales from 1 day to 1 year, and high-resolution interferometric observations at 2.7 or 5.0 GHz provide positional and structural information for several objects. One long-term variable has been detected; the other sources do not vary. One source shows the aligned structure characteristic of extragalactic sources, while another has a large measured redshift. The number of sources in globular cluster fields is entirely consistent with the extragalactic source counts. It is concluded that most of the sources are unassociated with the globular clusters toward which they lie.
