A comprehensive compilation of data for both events is presented. Some typical H-alpha limb and type IV radio spectrogram features are found to be associated. The escape of matter out to loops visible in H-alpha via blob ejection or loop eruption is associated with fast drift burst signatures resp. early flare continuum (FCE) emission in radio spectra and pulses in HXR. The comparison of both events reveals that the metric radio-HXR association is essentially a matter of particle escape conditions into the corona.
