Observations of A3158 were carried out at 1.384 and 2.496GHz on the Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA) on five different occasions throughout 1999. The data were taken in four array configurations (6A, 6B, 6C and 210m) and co-added to improve coverage in the uv plane. The total observing time was 20.5h over all four configurations.
