The space experiment on board Interkosmos-Kopernik 500 is briefly described. About 50 solar type III bursts of sporadic radio emission were observed by the radiospectrograph over the frequency range from 0.6 to 6.0 MHz. An irregular structure was observed in some of the type III bursts during the growth phase, recalling the structure of decametric type IIIb bursts. Plasma resonances arising in the ionosphere were also continuously recorded.
