It is pointed out that a recent discovery regarding Centaurus A may have an important bearing on the very local quasar model. Photographs showing visible filaments extending away radially from the galactic center were obtained. The photographs show also blue starlike images never before seen near the Galaxy. Such blue stars, presumably ejected from the galactic center, are predicted by the very local quasar model.
