From May 22 to May 31, 1975, the radio outburst of Cyg X-3 was observed at 4.8 GHz with the 100 m telescope at Effelsberg during a general survey of the Cygnus X region. The observed flux densities, having typical errors of 3% or less, and the general behavior of the sources are summarized. The observations were obtained as a flux density ratio with respect to NGC 7027 from direct adjacent crosscuts, assuming a value of 5.8 Jy for NGC 7027. The periodicity indicated in the detailed flux density behavior is visible in the data and this periodicity appears to become less pronounced when progressing from May 22 to May 31. The observations are compared with other Cyg X-3 data.
