High resolution VLA observations of the Alpha Sco binary system, a M1.5 Iab star (Antares), and a B2.5 V star separated by 2.9 arcsec show optically thick, unresolved radio emission from Antares with a spectrum of 0.47nu(1.05)GHz mJy and observable structures in an approximately 5-arcsec portion of the Antares stellar wind which is ionized by the companion B star. The nebulosity is an optically thin ionized region with characteristics indicating a B-star Lyman continuum luminosity of 3 x 10 to the 43rd/s and an Antares mass loss rate of 2 x 10 to the -6th solar mass/yr at the observed ionization front between the Antares wind and the ionized subregion.
