We report the results of a sensitive search for radio continuum emission with the VLA toward five Class II methanol maser sources. For four of the sources no radio continuum emission were detected by Walsh et al. Although we detected continuum emission in each of the fields, continuum counterparts were not detected for each group of maser spots. Our results suggest that the low detection rate of Walsh et al is to a large extent a sensitivity effect.
