We report on new radio and X-ray observations of two galactic SNRs: G7.7-3.7 and G344.7-0.1. The high resolution, high sensitivity radio data show several new structures in both remnants. In the X-ray regime, the XMM-Newton data for G7.7-3.7 reveal the existence of thermal soft X-ray emission coinciding with the radio southern limb of the remnant, and a point-like feature with a spectrum suggestive of a compact X-ray source or a PWN. In the case of G344.7-0.1, the new XMM-Newton image shows clumpy features and diffuse emission filling the interior of the remnant. The X-ray spectral investigation inferres enhanced abundances which imply the presence of SN ejecta in this SNR.
