The problem of the. transfer of electromagnetic radiation in a spherically symmetric cloud is considered without specifying the mechanisms of local generation and absorption of the radiation. Convenient simple equations are obtained for the spectral energy density of radiation inside the cloud, as well as for the spectral luminosity of a homogeneous spherical cloud.
