The radiation heat flux in an infinite, homogeneous, absorbing, and anisotropically-scattering medium contained in a cylindrical enclosure containing a cylindrically-symmetric distribution of radiation sources is given in terms of the parameters of the corresponding source-free problem with an isotropic boundary condition. For the special case of isotropic scattering, the radiation heat flux is given in terms of the albedo of the second problem. An equation for the radiation heat flux for a polynomial source has been obtained, in addition to an expression for the net radiation heat flux.
