Results of new radial velocity observations are presented for the "runaway" O star 68 Cyg - a candidate for a binary system. Low amplitude (K ≈ 10 km/s) velocity variations with a possible period of 0d.508 have been established. An earlier suggestion by Alduseva et al. (1982) of the 5d.1 day periodicity is incompatible with the present data.
