On the basis of photometric observations, about 10 - 15 years ago several investigators suggested an interesting possibility that the Delta Scuti variables could be devided into two groups in the H-R, P-L, and other diagrams. On the basis of the observational data for about 60 stars (Breger and Bregman, 1975), the author suggests that the scatter on the P-L plane may be mainly due to stellar oscillations in various radial modes. In the present paper, on the basis of much more numerous data - for about 90 relatively well-studied stars from Breger's (1979) list - the author confirms and extends his previous results.
