The radial and azimuthal component invariants of the heliospheric magnetic field associated with the Parker (1963) model are investigated using Ulysses data for high north and south solar hemisphere latitudes. No asymmetry is found on the two hemispheres in the discrepancy between values in the Parker theory and the invariant related to the heliospheric electric field. The difference vanishes at the solar equator, as shown by a comparison with the in-ecliptic measurements.
