Three-dimensional quasi-potential magnetic fields in stellar atmospheres are studied. Adopting the Clebsch (1859) representation for magnetic field and using the eigenvalue approach, a class of magnetic configurations capable of describing multilevel magnetic granulation is found. An example of a magnetic atmosphere with granulation is constructed in the form of an exact analytic solution of the basic equations. The corresponding quasi-potential magnetic field, in contrast to potential or force-free fields, is continuous everywhere and simultaneously has finite magnetic energy.
