We present optical (3200 A - 6000 A) photometry of TT Ari in the high state. We find a quasi-periodic brightness modulation with an amplitude of 3.5 percent and a period of 15.3 min. This fits the trend of decrease in period that the modulation has shown in the last few decades. Although we cannot fully explain this phenomenon with any of the known accretion disk-instability models, it is perhaps best described by the beat-frequency model.
