Solar wind velocity data from November, 1963 to May, 1980, were analyzed to determine their quasi-biennial oscillations. Periods of oscillations ranging from 1.8 to 2.2 yr, with an average of 2.0 yr were observed. The first half of the time interval is dominated by 23-26 Bartels rotations (up to Bartels rotation No. 1910). In the latter half, shorter periods of about 21-22 Bartels rotations prevailed. A change in the phase of the oscillations was observed in the latter half of 1970. Differences between the quasi-biennial oscillations of solar wind and solar activity are discussed.
