The Deep Lens Survey will use weak gravitational lensing to study the evolution of mass concentrations that make up large-scale structure. This science is complementary to studies that use quasars to probe the local and distant universe. We can bridge information gained from both methods by identifying quasars in the fields of the DLS. A search of NED indicates that, currently, there are only about 10 quasars known over the entire 28 sq. degrees of the survey. We present our methods of multicolor selections of outiers from the stellar loci. These selection criteria are determined through models of expected quasar colors observed with the DLS instrumental set-up. We compare this method to a chi square fitting analysis of the candidates' observed spectral energy distributions. In addition to multicolor DLS data, we use near-IR 2MASS observations of the brighter objects in order to select quasar candidates using information from seven filters, BVRz'JHKs. This work is funded by the NSF through the Astronomy and Astrophysics Postdoctoral Fellowship program.
