The two-dimensional theory of gravity proposed by Jackiw is exactly
quantized in the open case. The Wheeler-DeWitt equation is solved in
closed form with and without cosmological constant. The theory has no
degree of freedom and the wave functional reflects the classical aspects
of the solution.
