Quantum cosmology of Bianchi type I cosmological models are studied using N = 1 supergravity as the natural square root of gravity. The homogeneous Lagrangian for the model is constructed, and the full Einstein and Rarita-Schwinger equations for the metric and gravitino fields are compared with equations obtained from variations of the Lagrangian. From this comparison, the algebraic constraints due to the nondiagonal Einstein equations are derived. The quantum equations constructed from the square root formalism of Teitelboim et al. (1977) are given.
