Observations of the Quadrantid meteor shower observed from 1970 through 1980 are presented, and information is given on the radiants of the shower and its activity in different years. Zenith distances and linear heights above the earth's surface of the brightness maxima for fireballs are used to calculate the collection area for bright Quadrantids, and hourly flux numbers for meteors of different brightness and indices of relative activity are presented. The average slope of the luminosity function over the entire range of brightness amounts to 2.23.
