Q1232 + 134 is a quasar that was discovered in the region of the Virgo cluster of galaxies in 1982. The results of the UK Schmidt objective-prism survey and spectroscopic observations using the Palomar 5-m telescope are introduced in this paper. All of the emission lines are listed; the corresponding redshift is Z(e) = 2.364 + or - 0.002. There are 29 absorption lines in the spectrum. Two absorption line redshift systems and a possible system have been found.
