U, J, F, and N band photometric measurements were conducted for all objects in the field of Sa 68, with attention to those images classified by size as stellar. Those objects in the stellar set which do not lie in the domain of Galactic stars in color-color diagrams are discussed with respect to statistics. Because the volume of U-J, J-F, and F-N space occupied by common stars is small, a complete sample of all extragalactic objects of stellar appearance is expected from this technique. Increasing errors in both colors and classifications set a J value limit of less than about 23. It is determined that: (1) the candidate extragalactic objects have colors similar to brighter QSOs; (2) no evidence is seen for a class of distant, compact galaxies predominantly radiating by starlight; and (3) as anticipated by radio and X-ray observation constraints, the QSO counts flatten for J values greater than about 21.
