We have carried out a monitoring program of ~40 proto-planetary nebula (PPN) candidates over the past seven years to investigate light variability. Almost all are found to vary in light, with typical amplitudes of 0.15-0.40 mag. Periods are found for several of the PPNs, in the range of 50-150 d. However, most are non-periodic or perhaps have multiple periods. Even those with periods are found to vary in amplitude. An inverse correlation is found between the time scale of variability and the temperature. These variations are attributed to pulsations.
