We review the present status of the pulsating gainers of semi-detached Algol-type eclipsing binaries. We discuss the advantages of pulsation studies of eclipsing binaries, the mode instability in various systems and the recent abrupt changes in the pulsation spectrum of the primary in the Algol binary RZ Cas. We assume that an episode of high mass transfer affected the pulsation spectrum.
