The relationship between geomagnetic pulsations and pulsating auroras with periods ranging from 5 to 50 sec and the characteristics of the daytime auroral glow is analyzed on the basis of high-latitude observations during the winter of 1985-1986. It is shown that the pulsating auroras are observed mainly in the near-noon sector and are accompanied by Pi1 geomagnetic pulsations.
