We propose the inclusion of a new correction term, the gravitational time delay effect caused by an intervening star, in the analysis of pulsar timing observation. The analysis of this effect will not only help to stabilize the pulsar time but also provide a new way to determine the mass of the intervening star directly. In 10 years observation with the TOA accuracy of 200 ns, the probability would be more than 1% for a pulsar of a few kpc distance.
