Propagation of nonlinear transverse circularly polarized waves with characteristic frequency higher than the plasma frequency along the magnetic field in an electron-positron plasma was investigated. A modulation instability with great growth rate takes plase causing an excitation of Langmuir wave and formation of a charged bunch within the pulsar light cylinder in the region with open magnetic field lines. Propagation of a nonlinear Langmuir wave with a small angle in the magnetic field in the inhomogeneous electron-positron plasma was studied, revealing linear excitation of Alfven waves with frequency in the visible range. With the help of this transverse wave a frequency profile of intensity of the pulsar visible radiation is calculated.
