The electromagnetic field of pulsar has long been modeled as a magnetic dipole field and a rotationally induced electric field. It is our goal to understand where the magnetic fields of pulsars originate and the subsequent rotationally generated electric field. We have examined the process of spontaneous magnetization of the pulsar interior. Magnetization is a function of the temperature and neutron density of the pulsar interior. We calculated the necessary neutron density and temperature for spontaneous magnetization, a second-order phase transition, to occur. Due to the spontaneous magnetization of neutrons, a constant magnetization is assumed for the pulsar interior. From the constant magnetization, the magnetic field is calculated for the pulsar interior and exterior. The electric field is calculated according to the Goldreich-Julian model.
