The correlation between many pulsar parameters such as spin-down behavior, luminosity evolution, and kinematics, is not well known. Our computer simulation program, Evolve, allows the user to specify and change the initial properties of a group of pulsars and view the corresponding result. We apply our model to compare two recent models for the population. In the first model (Faucher-Giguere & Kaspi 2006), pulsars follow a standard magnetic dipole spin-down law, while in the second model (Contopolous & Spitkovsky 2006), pulsars have a strong dependence on the alignment angle between the magnetic and rotation axes. All other model parameters in the simulation are identical, thereby allowing us to identify key differences between these two competing models. From our results, we saw that the CS06 model does not appear to describe the population as well as the FK06 model. We were also able to better understand the correlation between different pulsar properties and judge the viability of certain parameter models.
