The process of the formation of planets in an initial nonturbulent gas-dust protoplanetary disk surrounding the sun is discussed. A working model of joint sun-protoplantary disk formation is presented. This model can be improved by determining the two- and three-dimensional structures of the disk and constructing a quantitative theory of turbulence and the magnetic field in the sun and the disk.
