Long-term prediction of low-energy (1 - 5 MeV) proton fluxes in
interplanetary space obtained using the model of active processes on the
Sun and in interplanetary space is compared with spacecraft data for
1965 - 1982. The dependence of low-energy solar proton fluxes on the
period and number of solar activity cycle is noted and analyzed.
