An analysis is made of the accuracy with which the linear-polarization characteristics of X-ray sources can be measured in the 40-250 keV energy range using a Compton polarimeter. The polarimeter efficiency is calculated by the Monte Carlo method for spectra of Cyg X-1 and the Crab Nebula. The expected polarimeter count rates are determined on the basis of these calculated spectra.
