This paper investigates the H I, optical, and dark matter properties of
the dwarf irregular galaxy DDO 169. The galaxy shows signs of being
tidally disrupted. Evidence of this can easily be seen in the galaxy's
velocity field. We also show that DDO 169, which was thought to have a
companion galaxy, does not.
