A spectral analysis is conducted of polarization angle measurements from coronal radio-sounding experiments using the linearly-polarized Helios signals. The level of Faraday rotation fluctuations, at 1 to 15 min characteristic periods, are determined for heliocentric distances of 3 and 16 solar radii; magnetic field amplitudes generated by Alfven waves are then derived from the fluctuations by a new technique.
