We present completed morphological classifications and physical parameters for a sample of approximately 100 compact and ultracompact (UC) HII regions in the W49A, Sgr B2 and W51 massive star forming regions. These classifications and parameters are based on VLA 7 mm and 3.6 cm images of W49A, 7 mm and 1.3 cm images of Sgr B2, and 7 mm images of W51. For the majority of the HII regions in the sample, we have matched resolution radio recombination line (RRL) data (H52α , H66α or H92α ). We have used these data sets to look for trends in the continuum and line parameters. In W49A, for example, we have found that 30% of the sources imaged in the 7 mm continuum and the H52α line at 0.04" resolution have broad RRL widths and rising continuum spectral indices. This percentage is consistent with the fraction of Broad Recombination Line Objects (BRLOs) found by Jaffe & Martin-Pintado (1999) in their millimeter recombination line survey. Finally, we use the continuum flux density of the sources in the sample to determine an initial mass function for the high mass stars associated with these HII regions.
