SiO maser emission provides a unique probe of the kinematics in the extended atmospheres of late-type stars. Using NRAO's Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA), we have obtained five epochs of observations of the v=1 and v=2, J=1 -> 0 SiO maser emission toward the long-period variable Mira (o Ceti). These observations show the changes in the SiO masers over phases 0.1 to 0.6 in the 332-day stellar pulsation cycle. We present the results of a study of the proper motions of the SiO masers obtained from the data and the implications for the motions of the gas in the circumstellar envelope of Mira.
