Photometric processing and wavelength determination were carried out for a meteor spectrum obtained from a meteor patrol in 1967. The spectrum is compared with spectra obtained by means of high-sensitivity TV cameras in 1974. Photometric processing of TV spectrograms revealed the nature of line intensity changes in the spectra of weak meteors. Intense line brightning toward the red and blue ends of the spectrum was observed in the spectra of weak meteors. The feasibility of determining the diameter of meteor images and the diffusion rate of the luminous gas from TV photographs is demonstrated.
