The data processing and evaluation procedure for the plasma experiment on board the HELIOS solar probes is described. The instruments of the HELIOS plasma experiment investigate the interplanetary plasma characteristics. Most of the intermediate data processing steps are explained and the resulting data plots are shown in their various forms. The most important computer programs are enclosed, together with basic explanations.
