Recent geophysical, geological, and geochemical findings concerning the Juan de Fuca Ridge are summarized. The findings include 'real time' changes due to volcanic activity and related hydrothermal flux, the detection of swarms of earthquakes near the axial zone, observation of varying upper crustal thickness, and a systematic decrease with age of crustal porosity.
