One important approach in determining the geometry of the Lyman alpha forest clouds involves probing adjacent sightlines to get a statistical measure of the size and distribution of the clouds. The goal of this work is to sample sightlines probing structures on the scale of clusters and possibly superclusters of galaxies. We focus our effort on a close pair of moderately bright quasars, LB9605 and LB9612. The pair is separated by 300 kpc. By having a rest EW limit for detection of 0.10 Angstroms we place sensitive limits on low column density counterparts to the more easily detected strong lines on the opposite line of sight. A third quasar, LB9615, has a similar emission-line redshift to that of the pair; at half a degree spacing, it probes supercluster-scale associations. Using nearest neighbor measurements we find the velocity splitting along the line of sight to be approximately 4 times greater than that of adjacent sightlines, for all possible pair combinations among the quasar triplet. We also detect at least one common absorber among the quasar pair LB9601 and LB9605.
