Main parameters of two-dimensional detectors for UV spectral range: CCD
and MCP are considered. Efficiency of these detectors in near-UV
(200-300 nm) and far-UV (100- 200 nm) are compared and the future
prospects of panoramic UV detectors are briefly outlined.
