Charged-to-neutral (C/N) hadron ratios have been measured over a wide energy range for extensive air showers with an average particle number of 150,000. The measurements allow for instrument effects and differences in the effective cross sections of nucleons and pions. C/N measurements for hadrons which were not accompanied by air showers are also presented. The results are in agreement with experimental results of other workers.
