The authors present preliminary results of a survey for H I 21 cm lines associated with known low redshift (0.2 < z < 1) Mg II systems using the new UHF-high system at the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope. Two new low redshift H I 21 cm absorption lines have been found: one at z = 0.2212 in the spectrum of the zem = 0.630 quasar OI 363 (B 0738+313), and the other at z = 0.3127 in the spectrum of PKS 1127-145 (zem = 1.187). Recent HST/FOS observations reveal that both systems are also damped Lyα (DLa) absorbers. Using the column density from fits to the DLa line and the H I 21 cm line equivalent width, the authors derive a mean spin temperature Ts ≍ 1000 K for both systems.
