Attention is given to the calculation methods for determining the radiation dose values and dose-equivalents necessary for the planning of space missions. Two computer models for predicting the radiation dosage are briefly described which are based on Monte Carlo methods to stimulate the high-energy nucleon-meson cascades of the incident projectile and the nucleons of the material nuclei.
