The Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) has produced full sky maps in five microwave frequency bands with precise calibration and a very low level of systematic errors. Using the frequency coverage, the cosmic microwave background (CMB) can be separated from foreground emission from the galaxy. A best fit cosmological model to the CMB and other measures of large scale structure works remarkably well with only a few parameters. We determine that the age of the universe is t_0=13.7± 0.2 Gyr, that the overall matter density in the universe is Ω_mh^2=0.135±0.009, that the baryon density is Ω_bh^2=0.0224±0.0009, that the dominant energy density has a negative pressure, w<-0.78, and that the average neutrino mass is less than 0.23 eV. WMAP sees evidence of super-horizon scale fluctuations and of the formation of the first stars. The spacecraft continues to operate and the precision of these results will improve.
