We show that the accretion disks in supersoft X-ray sources can, in principle, be unstable to radiation-induced warping. Moreover, we derive the expected precession timescale for those systems that exhibit jets, and we show that although in the system RX J0513.9-6951 the disk is expected to be stable against warping, in CAL 83 precession with a timescale of the order of a few months is expected. These findings are fully consistent with the presently available observational data.
